Carefully mined in Mexico, this collection is made of natural onyx – a mineral that is lightly translucence and has qualities of a gemstone. Wavy coloured bands of amber, ivory, and white are fused in the rock's fluid pattern. When backlit, onyx radiates a soft, ethereal light. Onyx is made of calcite - the same mineral that makes up limestone, marble, and travertine.
